We finally got to open our biome again. We saw that our fish was dead and our salamander was missing. We saw that our spider had gotten big ever since we last saw it. When we were cleaning it out we found a worm that was big as the salamander. We found out we had many rollie pollies
So far our plants are still turning rotten green. I think that mold is getting into the plants and making them die. Our spider on the other hand is still making webs are the bean plants. Today when we checked up on our fish it was dead. At first we thought it wasn't dead but it did not move or swim anymore. The salamander has been hiding in a hole underneath the log. Our frog is hiding from us so we no idea where it is at until we open it next week. But right now i think that our salamander is hibernating because he's probably thinking he is in a normal environment. The spider and salamander is probably using camouflage because they both can blend in with the dirt.
So far we seen that our animals are still doing great. The only thing that is bothering us is that our plants are getting mold on them and our spider is making webs on them. We also see that all of the crickets are gone.
Today we sealed our ecosystem finally but before we did we added things into it. We added more sticks and wood into the biome. We also added food for the animals. We were going to add alot of food to it but decided not to because we didn't want to overfeed them. So we decided for them to live on their own and find their own food. Now I'm about to tell you my abiotic and biotic factors.
Biotic-Tree frog, crickets, salamander, bean plants, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots Abiotic-Water, Air, carbon Dioxide, Today we decided to put a frog in the biome. Then we seen our bean plants grew tremendously over the weekend. I then saw one of our salamanders dead in the fish bowl. I then decided to bury the salamander out of the ecosystem. Next I added water to the biome. After that I fed the fish and also our wolf spider has dug
Dr. Brian Weinstein, I think that the water cycle started because the moisture that we add in the biome. The seeds I now see sprouting are my beans, Lettuce, Spider plants, shrubs, carrots, and soybeans. I decided to leave the spider above ground that way it can decompose naturally into the soil. I' not really sure if it will provide nutrients until the end when we clean it all out. Dr. Cynthia Sanders, The water cycles began with all of the moisture that we had put inside of it. I do think its interesting that our plants are sprouting because it will provide food and shelter for the animals.I'm not really concerned about the spider because I do hope that it will provide nutrients for my plants. Today we see that a water cycle is starting up. We see the condensation on the window. Now today we saw that our plants are sprouting from the ground and growing. We also finally put our fish and two salamanders in it.We also found out that the spider that was missing is dead. Then we saw that our other Wolf spiders is missing too. Today our temperature is 72.
Today, we saw that our biome was very dry so added water to it until it became moist. Monday when we came back from the weekend and found out it died. We then put the fish under the sand to provide nutrients. Now today we could not find one of our spiders we think its either dead or hiding under the sand. We decided to add a liazrd, tarantula, and try to add another fish. But so far our biomes are looking good. We also seen our plants to grow.
We have got all of our plants planted in the sand and so far we
Today, we will begin to create our ecosystem and get our little things for our biome bubble.
